The Centara Hotel is situated in a prime location near Karon Beach, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and markets. We just returned from a two-week stay at Centara Resort Karon, and while we had an amazing honeymoon and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, there were a few hiccups. The check-in process was unexpectedly stressful due to a deposit requirement, and our room had a damp smell that was off-putting. However, the resort's facilities and friendly staff made our overall experience wonderful, and I would certainly recommend it to others—just be prepared for the deposit situation.
