The Centara Hotel is situated in a prime location near Karon Beach, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and markets. While the amenities, like the pools, are fantastic, the quality of the rooms varies greatly, with some being in need of renovation. The service can be inconsistent, but overall, it’s a decent family-friendly option for a holiday, especially if you appreciate a good breakfast.
We just returned from a two-week stay at Centara Resort Karon, and while we had an amazing honeymoon and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, there were a few hiccups. The check-in process was unexpectedly stressful due to a deposit requirement, and our room had a damp smell that was off-putting. However, the resort's facilities and friendly staff made our overall experience wonderful, and I would certainly recommend it to others—just be prepared for the deposit situation.

Our stay at Centara Karon Beach Hotel was quite enjoyable. The modern design and spacious lagoon zone with its lovely swimming pool really added to our relaxation.
